The New York Times newspaper recently reported that Hanvon, is the first color e-book in the world. Here are excerpts from an article that appeared in the New York Times on November 8, entitled "Color Comes to the E Ink screen."
E-book reader lightweight and use less electricity, but most have disadvantages that are different colored tablet computer: the screen is black and white.
But on Tuesday at a trade show FPD International 2010 in Tokyo, a Chinese company announced that it will be the first to sell a color display screen uses technology from E Ink, a black-and-white display screen used in 90 percent of e-reader in the world, including Amazon Kindle, Sony Readers and Nook from Barnes & Noble.
